We are on a well, very acidic water, I never do water changes. Do need to add some if we have a dry summer ow the pond gets water from our gutters.

Just a little update as now the pond is finnished, i created a bog up top as suggested, we have successfully reintroduced the fish they absolutely love their new home actually playing you can see how excited they are, although they have vandalised the lilies and other oxygenating plants, we could of done a lot of things differently but it's turned out ok for our 1st attempt.

Awesome!
Thanks for the update.
Glad you made that area up there into a bog filter.
I'm guessing you're running both the bog and those two pressure filters.
Maybe once things settle, try bypassing those pressure filters and see if the bog alone can keep your water clear.
Basically, a bog surface area should be 30% of the pond's surface area to be your exclusive filter.
You shouldn't need a UV light either.

Cleaning out those pressure filters can get old real quick. So, if they are not needed, it will cut down on most of your maintenance.
