New Pond: Todays Progress

I got most of the smaller new pond done so I will be finished probably tomorrow and can get going on the big one. The one I did today is the addition to the koi pond so they have more room especially with the new guys. This pond is only 2100 gallons because I basically wanted a pond that would be nearly the same size as the old one only deeper. Anyway here are a few pics of the new pond. Like I said I only had today to work on it so some of the work is not finished such as laying the sod and the electrical/pump enclosure.

Good work! I must say your soil looks fantastic, here we've got layers of rock and clay that's really hard to put a dent in.

Agree I have to use the backhoe to even dig a hole for plants. Nice dirt
