I cant seem to post videos. I can post them as a text link, but not with the large picture like on page one of this thread.

Hi John,

It should be possible to just paste in a youtube link (without clicking any icons in the editor) and then it should appear as a video automatically. I've made another code change which should accept a wider variety of youtube formats - so it may work better now

edit: I did a test and found out what may be causing the problem. If when you paste the youtube URL in to the editor it is auto linked (i.e. goes underlined and blue), then highlight the youtube link and click the "unlink" button (looks like a broken chain) in the editor. That should do it.

That did it! Thanks for the help, I was going nuts here. I think I tried every combination but what you just suggested.

I think this could be a bug in the software when used with browsers that autolink stuff. If you try pasting a youtube link and then use the de-link button on the editor toolbar (looks like a broken chain), this should convert the youtube video URL to text and auto embed. I hope this is fixed in future versions of the software .

tried it...then posted, went back in edit mode and then it worked.
