Picture Posting Problem

I'm currently looking in to a problem where some users are having problems posting pictures. If you are one of those members, could you please let me know in this thread as well as any error message you receive when trying to upload (I guess the image uploads are as thread attachments?).

I'll do my best to get this sorted ASAP .

Sorry that's the only way I know to copy and paste it. That picture was taken along with about 6 other pics at the same time. It will not load and it shows that, Upload to flie error each time I try.

Do you know what filesize the image was? I'll test a similar sized image and see if there's a problem with large files .

3648 x 2736 3.30MB To large, This is on the camera end, I see now!

I got your e-mail with the attachment and it was too big for me to upload too... however I've found an easy way to re-size them

If an image filesize is too large, go to : http://www.picresize.com/

Then select a custom width of around 800 pixels, that should shrink it by enough to be uploaded :lol:.

Once you have them resized how do you get them back on your computer or post them?

Here's what I did with one of the images you e-mailed:

• Clicked browse and uploaded the file to http://www.picresize.com/
• Wait a min for file to upload
• Clicked "Fit to screen: 800 Resolution"
• Clicked "I'm done, Resize my picture"
• Clicked "Save to Disk"
• Selected to save to desktop

After that, I uploaded the file as normal

I am also having trouble posting pics. I have posted before but suddenly can no longer get them to load. The size of the pic I loaded before was 1728 X 2304.

Here is the error message:

When I post pics I just resize them right from the pic file.

Right click on the pic your want.
Left click on resize picture.
Left click Advanced.
Adjust to custom size of 650 x350.
Left click ok.
Select resized pic.
Attach file.

Good to go.

Your dimensions size is 3264 x 2448 need to resize to 800 resolution. Same problem I was having.
