planter around edging?

I cannot decide whether to put planters around the whole perimeter of the pond or hang rocks over the edges and secure them together with concrete. Which one do you think is a better option

What do you mean by "planters"?

Think about what it will look like in winter, too. Once plants die back...

i meant like plastic planters around the whole edge of the pond i am trying to hide the liner

oh gosh no! keep it natural then and do stone!!! The words plastic and pond do not go together!!

You could do like I did and plant Irish Moss and Wooley Thyme around the perimeter of your pond. Check out my pics, it took a year for it to all fill in, but now it looks great.
