I have had this plumeria for 5 years, I brought back a cutting from Hawaii and it bloomed for the first time. I have another one and it has not bloomed yet, so I have no idea what color it will be hopefully different from the pink one.

Wow tmann that is very pretty and does it stay outside all winter in the freeze or do you have to bring it in every fall? And what should I pinch off and bring home from Hawaii when we go in October (Oahu Island)?

Yes I have to bring them in, they are a tropical tree/bush. We actually bought ours at a shop at one of the state parks we went to. I am sure you could cut a piece of off a tree if you wanted to. The piece I had was about 8" long and I think they actually wax the end that is cut off to preserve it some how. I was looking to see if I could cut off a piece of mine and propagate it, it just isn't that big yet so maybe next year. It has never bloomed like this before and I could not remember what color it was. You can probably order off the net too.

Is this the first time to Hawaii?

Well it's very pretty but I am trying to stick w/ stuff that is hardy nowadays. With hubby retired it just makes more work for the neighbors to have to take care of.
