lol jw, i have had pond porn over and over so far. Poor toad decide to drop eggs in the top stream pond, pushed out the green frog. Well I ran the stream, not realizing there where eggs in it. The deck waterfalls into that pond. Now the strings of eggs are all little black specks everywhere, will be interesting to see if they make it. Some of the strings are still together.

Sorry for the porn. LOL I had no idea toads could hang out under water like this. When I noticed them it was because the female was struggling to get to the surface for some air. Then, when I came backout with the camera, they simply sunk back down under to the lily pot. Did you notice the bud ready to open? Probably another couple of days, though, since weather temps dropped today.

Never seen any pond porn at my pond! Wish I would, not that I'm into that or anything, lol! Just would like a choir to sing for me! I bet some will make it from your stream addy, don't ya think? They will have it all to themselves. You'll have a grand symphony this summer!

I just hope that female was smart enough to go into the bog, which was just about 2' away from where they were doing their thing, to lay her eggs. If she does, they will have a chance to hatch and I can put up some screen wire to keep the babies in there until they grow bigger. But, if she laid them in the pond, they will be caviar, I'm sure. Oh well! That's nature. I heard the toads at dusk last night, and after dark, they were singing up a storm! No bullfrogs croaking lately, still too cold, but have the medium sized frogs on the goldfish pond. They are fun, as they are not as scared of me, will stay put unless I walk straight towards them.

CE I seen your bud getting ready to bloom already! My lilies addy gave me are starting to reach for the surface. Will need to stab a few fertilizer spikes into the soil soon for them so they can make their lovely blooms! By the way I checked at Lowes for those Jobes tomato spikes and they said they have none and I said what about the online Lowes thing that said they had them for $4.16? She said oh that happens all the time, don't ya just hate that? I said whatever! Found them at our Ace hardware store in town tho for $3.25 for 18 sticks. Not as good as the online price but at least I found them.

I have my plant tabs out to fertilize, but with the weather keeping on bouncing (was 78 yesterday, today's high was first thing this morning, then dropping temps, but tomorrow back up to about 60, 65 on Sunday, and sunshine!!!), I worry if I fertlize and they are somewhat dormant because of the colder weather, may waste the tabs. I think I'll put it in each of the pots this weekend anyhow. I got 4 bottles of the tabs on sale last year, maybe $1 or so each bottle, about 1/4 the normal price, so I bought the rest of them!

What a bargain CE, I would have bought them all up too! Going to be in the 70's here tomorrow and Sunday so think I'll fertilize mine too!
