@j.w Do you have elk In your area?
Not up here on our high hill but I know they have them in other area's of the state. We have bear, cougar and bobcats and bunch of smaller stuff up here tho. Never seen a cougar or bear but see the bobcats off and on and of course coyotes.

There are many feral cats on our hill, and most of them use our dished basalt rock for drinking daily. Other times, they come right up and drink from the pond waterfalls. In exchange, we have no mice!
A cat for all season's and then some

I'll not be trapping anything! A couple of times one ran right in front of me. Acted scared to death of me.
Two women in a neighboring town walked into a green house, must have been some rodents in it and when they walked in the door the bobcat had no exit and it attacked the two women badly

Bluejays were making a big ruckus yesterday so I figured an owl was nearby and went to look. Sure enough, little owlet was trying to take a nap and several residents took exception to her location.

She tolerated the abuse for quite a while and eventually gave up and went off to hunt. As she left she flew just inches above an unaware squirrel -- that got his attention :)

something weird going on - a copy of my post was still in the editor although I'd posted it.

Let's just try again - here are links to the 3 little videos. I'm sorry for the confusion.
Leaf irritation
Getting buzzed by a hummer
Bluejay in her face
I sure hope these work for you - she's cuter than ever :)
Here's a bonus for your trouble
. She often watches me too -- I try to keep very still so not to affect her behavior but she seems to be interested. I may have had a dog leaning on my leg, but there was no frothing or lunging to catch her attention. I like to think she likes me too

Not your fault on the computer issues. @Ian had the nerve to go out and finally get a real job and left us all hanging. And @addy1 had storm issues w/no power.
Boy we lost out on this one.
Should'a had a big party in here and tore the house down
