We were visited by an armadillo a week or so ago. Sorry, but the camera shot is crappy. It’s easier to see on the video version. That’s about as exciting as it gets here.

Vultures migrate through here in large numbers and they need warm air to soar. One day this week some of them had a false start due to the cold and had to wait it out behind our yard. Here are 2 adolescents and a mature Turkey Vulture.

We have those ugly birds year round. so many around here think they are eagles when the fly, they usually get what the wife loves the most " the eye roll"
