Hi All, I am new here and hopefully posting in the right thread, apologies if not.
I currently have a small 720ltr pond which is around 10 years old with Sarasa Comets and Shubunkins. I am building a new replacement sleeper pond which is going to be 2430ltrs in size.
I will be fitting a gravity fed Eazypod with a 4in bottom drain, the Eazypod will feed into a 75ltr moving bed with K1 using 3in pipe, then exiting through 2in pipe into the pump returning via 2 returns all 2in pipe consisting of a direct return through a bulkhead fitting into the pond to give me the rotational flow and a bakki shower.
My question is, will a 10,000ltr varipump be more than enough for what I want or should I use a 20,000ltr pump?

As crazy as it is this is a British site but it is rather difficult to get alot of input as to the types of filters and such you blokes use over there. Now come asking about eco ponds and bogs and you came to the right place

and welcome @Hopalong
Most people on here are from the U.S but many are also from the U.K and other countries. If you look to the left here under the person's profile at the bottom lots put the country flag that they are from and some add the cities or state's etc.The owner is from the U.K but we never see him here.
