A sad weekend for me One of the most beautiful fish I've ever seen, much less owned, passed away!

I know, he was "just a fish..." So why am I crying over his loss? I've only known him for 5 months, but.... He was big. He was beautiful. Long, flowing fins, waving like a flag in a breeze. He was friendly. He seemed happy & healthy. He was always there.... Until he wasn't. I just hope he didn't suffer!

RIP, Sumo, my friend! You are missed!

Sorry to hear. I just lost one of my Shubunkin too. Its disappointing.

To be honest, I'd probably be more sad to find a frog dead. I feel like I have even more of a connection with them.
