Sand filter conversion???

There is a 100lb sand filter on craigslist with a 1.5hp pump and was modern how hard it would be to convert it to a Bead filter??? An if I did do it how large of a pond would it filter

I did see one of someone trying it lol, watch the amps on the 1.5 hp motor, my pool motor sucks electricity when it is running.
