Wife and I went to a reptile show yesterday. Some really cool animals. We didn't add to the crew here but had a coll day checking out all the neat critters.

I can understand why somebody would like to have snakes but don't get why they want poison ones unless they have the need to off someone or make them really ill or they have a death wish. I've heard some snakes can kill you of course but others just make you really wish you were dead

And more snakes and the cutiest little hedge hog. I thought for a little while he might just come home with us but we decided, no additional critters this trip. Was hard to walk out and not get something!

My favorite two were the last two turtles, I really wanted either the leopard tortoise ($200) or the pancake Tortoise ($250) they also had four Mata Mata turtles I really liked, ranged from $250-$300 I thought I had a better pic, this is the best one I got, NOT VERY GOOD! but they are 100% aquatic and feed primarily on snails and small fish and are not very active.

Fishin, that's a really nice looking leopard, and, not a bad price either. I have 2 leopards that are about 7 years old now, and I really enjoy them. We have a herp show going on here this weekend as well. I'm staying away so that I'm not tempted LOL

I'm so tempted to go back today, We have been talking about it this morning, Seems like we are both leaning toward the tortoise's, We really liked the BIG red footed, But I really liked the size and colors and ease of keeping of the pancake. The red footed we can get a proven pair with an additional female that should be old enough to breed for next year for $350 for the trio. The pancake and the Leopards we already have housing set up for.
