Things are going a bit more smoothly. I think I might be able to finish this early. Still waiting to buy the Nozzle kit for the main pond. After that my next item will be the Aquascape UltraKlean filter.

why not build your own filter and see how it comes out ,you may find it works better than any thing you can buy .

I know nothing about DIY pond filters. It needs to have built in UV, backflush capabilities, and be pressurized. The filter operates below the outlet in the header. I'm still in for buying a premade filter. Everything is designed to specs.

I might look further into DIY if I have more info. Remember I'm working with limited space. I need something that can do all of my requirements in limited space. The pressurized biological filters are best bet and the manufactured units are specifically designed. Besides the fact I don't want to make a million trips to Walmart or Lowes for one pat or another.

I do like the DIY idea but at this point it doesn't seem practical for my situation.
