Spring cleanup

After spring thaw there is a visible amount of floating detritus. What's the best way to filter this out. My first attempt at outdoor fish keeping is going well but below grade ponds need a different filtering
setup. Is there a system to vacuum water occasionally?

Most koi dealerships carry one or two pond vacs for sale , pop along to one of them and see what thy suggest would be my best shot here but do you know you should also clean your filters three times a year spring , mid summer, along with cleaning the pond of detritus prior to winter?

I just put quilt batting in a crate and put my pump hose in it and use a swimming pool net to get the rest
