I have the variegated yucca but had no clue what it was until someone told me .I got it up in NJ from a friend

I like to keep them in a container cuz they like to take over at least the plain ole green ones did. Finally got rid of them. Took forever to keep digging them up. Next year they would always come back from the tubers which spread underground like wild fire :lol:

gosh I will have to get a pic of one down on highway 58 here it towers above the house and looks more like a palm tree than a yucca .Know what you mean about the green ones I had 6 to start with 2 years ago and was out trimming today and I counted 15 now .I like this variegated one but it does not seem to grow .I have had it now for 3 years and it is still close to the same size

Maybe be thankful that it does not grow fast sissy. It could turn into the green monster one's if you speak to loud :cool:

Like bamboo, see groves of that stuff quite a few places here, just along the road.

It is fully open now! the lotus That leaf is around 22 inches..................just noticed the deer bites in the leaf!

deer need there greens to .But it either did not taste good or he did not like it or he would have eaten more of it

oh geeze she is going to get high on a flower now .Sent us a scratch and sniff if it smells good .I have seen a few lotus and have always found most have little or no scent .The koi place I go to in NC has tons of them and I could not notice much of a scent from them there .Could be there was a scent but with so many you could not tell .He sells them for 7 dollars a piece .I will take have to remember to take the camera the next time I go .Actually he sells them by a clump ,he just pulls them up and water evers in the clump you get

Lol sissy, I don't think they have scent either, I was right on top of it taking the picture and noticed no smell.

7 dollars a clump..........good price!

Guessed it was a good price .I have to invest in new key board or take spelling lessons LOL I may go tomorrow and try to get one and take some pics .He grows them outside in a huge long stock tank so they must be hardy ones .

yeh and guess what ordered from big als tuesday got it this morning got the 2 inch oxygen balls 1.49 wow after soaking for an hour do they work great .Oh checked about lotus most do not have a scent they are hybreds and lost there scent because of it .Some of the tropicals still have a scent
