Every time you show new pix the property looks even more filled in and lush looking. That's a lot of work planting all those plants..........my back hurts thinking about it. Pretty lotus and now you have one that smells too

my honey wants me to count the plants and varieties, not sure I can count that high and make a list of all the flowers. maybe some day lol..........The cone flowers, blanket flowers, phlox were all tiny cheap starter plants last year and now are just beautiful. Just getting to really open up.

I know I posted this lily in the other thread, lol, but need to add it to my flowers!

The day lilies are blooming like crazy in the bog. They all have a double petal flower, I took them from an area that had only single flowers, wonder if the extra water did that to them.

I have some star gazer lilies, put in 100 last year, they are close to opening. We are leaving for a week to check in on his parents, I am gonna be so sad if they open and are done before we get back.

This tiny lily plant is just cranking out flowers

More beautiful plants and I enjoy looking at them all. You do have lots and lots and getting more all the time. Will you ever fill the property up?

One thing I just love is going out and sniffing the air, it is so sweet smelling. We have four baby bunnies living under the plants

Addy how big of a pot is that taro root in? Does the wind blow it over and how deep is it in?

It is a black 3 gallon pot, from some plant I planted, 12 inches wide, one of those sort of squat ones. The shelf is around 20-24 inches down, the top of the pot is about 6 inches down in the water. So far it has survived our winds, we get some bad ones. Our main wind blows west to east. Most of the time the wind push is back towards the bog wall

This is the other pot of taro. They are both planted in kitty litter. My first time with them, not sure how big they will end up here, and will have to figure out how I want to try and save them for next year, i.e. over winter.

jw the only time those bunnies are disturbed is if I am out messing in the plants, they are so cute. When they get older they head for the woods for their permanent home. Last year they hung out in in the hostas in the front yard. They nibble but not enough to worry about.
