I had string algae in my new pond. I added 2 new Shubunkin's to my pond the other day. 2 days later the string algae is all but gone...now I know it was just a coincidence but why did the algae dissappear? I did not add any chemicals...I did a 10% water change. Otherwise everything is the same. I am just flabbergasted. The water is very clear....could the pond be getting into a balance?
