JW, That's okay. I didn't make myself clear. I had one in the back yard that was a motion sensor that gave off a high frequency sqweel that drove the dog, cat, and my son crazy. Because of my tenitus, I could'nt hear the darn thing at all. It didn't stop the racoons either.

That's too funny. Worked in all the ways it wasn't supposed to! I think they make ones with adjustable frequencies now, so you might be able to dial it in.

Yes you did make yourself clear cuz when I went back and re-read it it made perfect sense to me. I must have been in la la land while reading posts at that time. Can the neighbors hear it or is it just for things in close proximity? I can see how it would drive the animals nuts. I think I will just keep my broom handy :regular_waving_emot

Only close proximity. I would like to see you on video with that broom running across the yard screaming.

I do believe I haven't seen that bird since I did the broom thing and scared him off.
I hope I don't have to do it again or that birds gonna be in a heap a trouble.
