We have two baby fish in the pond this year! I'd given up when I saw four tiny fish, but I've only seen two since then. One is a dappled colour like my beloved Humphrey was who passed away last year (I've called this one Lightening due to promising my three year old nephew I would name a fish after a Cars character!), and the other is an amazing mix of black, white, grey and gold. It has a stunning gold spot across it's head and a luxurious tail like my fish Katherine had (who passed away about three years ago) - I've called it Dante. I love seeing the traits of my first four fish (all gone now 
) coming through in each generation...ponds are amazing ecosystems! I've even found some water snails! Who knew they were there??!!
