Ok ok! I wasnt going to kill the poor thing just put it in isolation. What i meant was i didnt want the bug to be passed to my healthy fish, i was trying to avoid more deaths. I have a couple of rudd that were in the previous pond when we moved in here in 1987, there still going strong 28 years later so i must be doing something right lol.

Treat the entire pond with a good offf the shelf anti-bacterial treatment Rach thats where the problem is , thats the easiest way forwards .

Not heard of it myself but your more than welcome to try it Rach however remember get the exact amount of treatment measured out and administer as directed lets pray that we get this right without having to take a swab to the vets .
