Well I will leave it submerged see what happens. It was redone to be totally water proof. Not just weather proof. The written up description on Amazon is gone.

I tried to fine it but that camera isn't even on their site anymore. I can't understand why these companies come up with cameras that work under water and stop making them unless there has been an issue.

True, but at the price it is a cheap failure if it does fail. I meant to check it out when I got it last summer, but life got in the way. Put the box to the side and forgot about it.

I know what you mean! The one thing is with major ice forming, camera cables as well as lighting cables need to be protected from the ice. Pipe wrap or a low watt heater.

Never even though about wrapping my cam cables, guess if we get a melt I need to put something over the lines. They have never been damaged in all the years I have had them running, but there is always a first time.

I have had problems with cables that were cheaply made damaged by ice. I use 100 watt heater that have a hole thru the middle and run all cables thru there.

Easy enough to do, I will drop them into a piece of pvc or the foam pipe wrap. Right now frozen in ice.
