Unidentified submersible plant.

In my previous post regarding new plants I mentioned that I unintentionally brought home some foxtail. After reading in several books I'm not so sure. Some books are called this some kind of wort and others suggesting foxtail. I will admit I'm not as familiar with submersible/oxygenators as I am with surface plants. Maybe someone can confirm the identity of these.

Looks to be hornwort @FountainMan .

It's an oxygenator and will produce tiny bubbles during the day which is good for adding dissolved O2 to your pond.

It can also break apart and clog a pump fast .

My pump sits in a box filter so I don't think that will be too much of an issue.

mine is inside the laguna cage and I was amazed at what got through the cage after only 4 months .I don"t have but 2 plants in my pond in they are inside my window screen pockets .
