You gotta gather them up in a pond corner, packed up so they can thrive. It makes it hard for the fish to go between them to get those mosquitoes larvae. My experience is not good with them.

if you have koi they’ll keep trying to eat them. They don’t winter outside in my zone and at this point my policy is if it can’t survive out there it ain’t worth it.
