@Magzire , I am glad it worked for ya....

...as I said, I tried many of those type of products from Tetra and Microbe-Lift and they never made difference for me... Microbe-Lift actually has a huge line of these type of products... all of which I tried and never noticed a difference... even though there are also testimonials saying the products actually do work for them...

I hope Pure Pond works out well for ya.

@Magzire , most likely the reason why your water is "gin clear" is cause your bacteria product was "eating" the floating waste particulates and chemicals that created the water turbidity. This "eating" makes the bacteria multiply.

Once the turbidity is gone, there is no food for the bacteria... Bacteria die off... Water turbidity and ammonia begins to increase...

...so then... process repeats...

You dose with your bacteria product... they multiply (to store the nutrients) while consuming your ammonia and reduces water turbidity... water is "cleansed" and, due to lack of food, bacteria die releasing their nutrients storage... Ammonia and water turbidity increases...

....so then... process repeats...

You dose with your bacteria product... etc etc...

You are treating the symptoms... Not treating the problem...

Virgin or high density aquatic systems do not rely on continual usage of these products... good bacterial products are often a ONE time shot... like a vaccine...

...if this is cheaper for ya to do rather than improving your pond's design and filtration system... then continue with it...
