Finished abandoned mining diorama, working water wheel. Everything is concrete so no need to hide any liner edge. The edge actually is hypertufa, so it should eventually turn green or get moss on it, which will be really nice.

I'm concrete casting cinder blocks to look like shipping containers. I'm using them as steps to get across my aqueduct. Each weighs about 70 lb. This is just a construction shot. It will get much more decorated.

Yes sissy it does. Dave now what is that hula girl doing in that abandoned mining town? You gonna make a tropical spot somewhere for her?

Thanks, she was hanging out at a thrift store and she became mine for 99 cents. The important thing is she scales out to 1:13.7 (slightly smaller than dollhouse size), which everything in the garden scales to. I even try to get small plants like sedums, at lease near the RR tracks so they all scale out together. A fish the size of a shark would be minnow size, so if I ever get fish, they must be tiny.

The water on the building was splashing from the waterwheel as I was adjusting the feed spout before the photo was taken, so actually, there's very little water loss. I'm going to be doing more plumbing this winter when the water features are shut down.
