I found a bunch of these teenie tiny worms (not red or black fly larvae and not mosquitoes) in my pond. Here's what it looks like under the microscope. It's less than 1/4 inch. You can't see any of this definition without the microscope.
We've recently treated with dimillin because we thought we had lice. We're now going to do proform-C.
We've have 1 fish in a hospital tank for a couple of weeks as it had what seems like a carp pox breakout and we did find 1 lice on him.
Looking online this worm doesn't appear to be anchor worm or flukes or anything I can find.

Are they in a water sample or on a scraping from the fish? Could they be one of the life cycle stages of the fish lice?

They are probably the hidden marvels of nature that keep our ponds healthy.
