Pond? What pond? Haven't see the pond in WEEKS! Too much snow and too cold to even venture out there!

It's warming up this week, so I'm hopeful we will have some melting. Although they're calling for MORE SNOW TONIGHT!

Oh and if anyone ever tells you "it's too cold to snow" - that just ain't true!

Spring is on the way soon! Today and tomorrow it's going to be 7 Celsius, that's like 44 Fahrenheit! Yesterday down by my house the thermostat said 50 Fahrenheit!!! Then we're supposed to get a little cold again later in week but not the -30 at least. Every day the sun grows stronger and by March my cold frames should be off the koi ponds so birds will be happy!

Wow!! TurtleMommy that's very cold for way down south, hopefully your all warmed up now!
Yes! We are up to 50F as we speak (9:30pm), and most of the snow is gone on the roads and in yards. Hubby and I brought out our ski clothes to go walking — most Southerners don’t routinely have those warm layers — and for the first 3 days, it was as cold or colder than than what we normally experience in Colorado or Utah this time of year. Brrrr! For today’s walk, we only needed a light vest. And the pond pump hasn’t missed a beat!
