I wish to convey to you, my pond friends the following sad news ...

This weekend I lost one of my five old goldies. They all seemed fine. But last night one of the fantails was found "floating" in the brick pond. It was several years old and just beautiful

I wish I knew what befelll it ... no signs of illness nor injury.

The only recent change in its life was the huge amount of rain we had here last week, but the other fish seem fine.

I'll bury it later in my Goldfish Graveyard.
