Maybe you should have fell into the pond afterwards to cool off @HARO
The fish would not mind. They love to nibble on human hairiness

Humidity is 54% INSIDE the house, with the AC on! Probably double that outside. :dead: Just finished mowing the front yard. (Notice I didn't call it a lawn.) The weeds took advantage of the slight rainfall, so I had to decapitate them. Feels like I fell into the pond!

Our AC never turns off until late late at night. Keeps our humidity in the house around 40%. It is old and undersized. We are going to update it eventually.

6:30 PM, 96 and 15% humidity outside. Way too hot for me, I hate this weather! Thankfully, we'll likely be down in the mid 80s in a few days. At least it cools down fast here at night. We've been between 45 and 52 by around midnight.

Personally prefer the heat over a cold day, however, the constant battle to keep the yard alive is a real pain. Anytime the forecast shows 100's, I'll be busy. Water bill came today, $93.

I'm just the opposite, I'd rather have 20 than 90. 45-70 is perfect for me, unless working hard like splitting wood, then 30-45 is more like it, with just a T shirt and light pants. My wife says I can nearly heat a room all by myself.

We had storms roll through on and off all day today. Something got struck by lightning near my workplace--there was a huge ka-BOOM that set off car alarms and shook the windows! Tomorrow they are predicting 78 for a high, which is a nice little break from the heat we've had lately.

Hot but cooler than last week.
We get no water or sewer bill, one nice thing about being rural.

The horses are hanging out in the cooler bug free zone

My weeds are on steroids. I have given up, they will be gone when winter hits.

Are those 'wild' horses? We have herds roaming the hills around us, poor things out in the Nevada desert.
They are wild. The only thing done is a round up to control numbers of the ponies. They could out graze what the land can support.

Same here, the activist make a big deal about BLM trying to control the herds, but it's better than them starving to death. Common sense people.
