We made the mistake last fall of taking in the kale before frost.
I didn't know that frost improves the taste of kale. We'll know better for this year.

It does the same for brussel sprouts .Cold weather improves them and people make the mistake of pulling them up at the end of the year and my plants back in NJ were 5 years old and produced all winter long .I used to shovel out to my garden when I got in the mood for them as a snack and in salads .I also had great asparagus .One thing I miss is my nice fertile garden .Lots of leaf mulch that would be bagged with the lawn mower and covered with tarps in my garden and it made the best soil .Grass clipping compost .

Brings back lots of memories for me. Didn't go to their concerts but sucked in a lot of their tunes in my head and I can still sing along w/some of them. Wow Frank Zappa used to drive my mother crazy. I had this album and she used to Freak Out

We were into him way earlier than that song. 1966 was when I remember their music. Wasn't into them after the 70's. We were teens in the mid to late 60's.
I left home when I turned 18 to live the psychedelic life
