U gg! ! It's cold and snowed last night, Little Rio is not going to be happy about this when she wakes up!

Well at least she can still "P" in Fariy land! Funny thing when I first got tiny little Rio, she was the size of a hamster I swear, and back then a big "p" was the size of a table spoon and they were barely enough to make my socks wet, now there are giant pees! Ha ha ha

5 to 8 inches of snow predicted for here and since I could not get the carport roof done .I used ice and water shield to cover the area .Stuck under the shingles on top and layed over the shingles below and run under the side shingles .Best I could do until I get the shingles .They do not have GAF driftwood colored shingles here any where so had to order them .Tried to nail some of the old shingles up there just to keep the wood under from getting wet again .When they say that ice and water shield sticks they really mean it sticks .Piece's took skin off my hands and I still have a piece stuck to my shoe

Cold right now outside, about 1 Fahrenheit I think. ( -17 Celsius) Old man winter is back and I am outside sitting in greenhouse, having glass of wine before bed. It feels chilly , going to run into house and grab sweater. Why do a I sit outside in greenhouse in middle of night? Cause the fairy Gardens get me stimulated for spring.
Having a thought right now. What if the greenhouse was over by ponds, and what if one part of pond went onto greenhouse? Would the part inside greenhouse freeze over with ice In semi warm greenhouse?

No so sweet Addy! About 2" so far and still coming down! Got my camera system set up yesterday but was only able to just lay one camera on the deck to see how it works. Watching the snow falling on the ponds from the living room. Love it!

Because you like to have open water for your pond during the winter, you'll have frost develop above the pond on the part of the greenhouse where the greenhouse wall meets the outside air.
The evaporating pond water will create that frost.

Great about the camera system I just love ours. We can check the bees, glance at all sides of our yards from anywhere we are, home traveling etc.

We have a dedicated smallish tv that is always showing the views from the cameras.

It is just a light covering here so far, maybe 1/4 inch, still coming down. But by the weather pattern we won't get much this time. We still have around 8 inches on the ground from the weekend storm.

About an inch , fell, sun is coming out now. We still have a bunch of snow on the ground, around 8 inches and then drifts.
