@bettasngoldfish Your picture made me LOL. Our pups use the patio all winter like it's the grass. So I have been out the last few days shoveling the patio. HOW DO THEY POOP SO MUCH??? (haha! Just kidding... considering it was January the last time we shoveled the patio it's not that bad!)

@Lisak1 Glad you got a laugh out of it! I have a 75 pound Boxer who poops a lot and I figured it would be easier to clean up after the long cold winter with this  I also have a peekapoo that adds to the clean up. I recently lost my old Chihuahua (he was toothless and blind and also started having seizures) and I always carried him outside and put him down on the patio and let him potty there. I would go out with him and then just pick up any mess as he left it.

@sissy I took away their wheels so they are grounded now :ROFLMAO:

Gray day but will get brighter and still warmer. I think we have made it through the winter and hopefully no freezes cuz our peach tree has tons of blossoms. Just have to hope the bees will be flying and that there are some around. So far have only seen the occasional big fat bumble bees.

Sunny Spring like day here. I turned on my Pond Master 1250 pump and having it splashing into the pond. It'll provide some filtration as it'll go through the skimmer, but I don't have it hooked up to the filter yet. Found a big dead frog in the skimmer :(

Pond water smelled a little "sulfury" coming from the hose.....hope it's nothing serious. My pond water is 50 degrees, so hopefully this isn't too cold for the pump to run.

Beautiful weather here, mid 50's every day. Doing my second barbecue this week.(y)

There's some open water around the pond breathers and I can see some minnows darting around.

Last Thursday it was 0°F, the windchill was below zero, the snow cover was deep, and even though we were expecting a small warm up, Winter had no end in sight.

Fast forward one week and temps have been consistently in the high 40°s, low 50°s, almost all the snow is gone, and I found these plants growing today.

One week! What a difference! ...and we might hit 60°F tomorrow. I'll be opening my windows, for sure!

Sure was and I was doing almost 60mph which is the speed limit and i was in the slow lane I saw him behind me but he was a ways back and in the fast lane .I always give truckers extra room as my brother in law is a trucker and my brother was a trucker .He sure did lock up his breaks .I did not want to go into the fast lane because he was part way across the lines in the road ,I just pressed the gas pedal and went faster .So he would not flip .He came up so fast behind me I was even shocked .Then on my way down my road my neighbors dog ran out in front of me .He was lucky I was going slow .I thought it was supposed to rain but so far just cooler and very cloudy

It was so hot and dry yesterday and we reached a high of 70 degrees!! No ice on ponds, long gone, except front yard in shade still has some bits of ice stuck to grass. Rock piles where I take my puppies to run and play is off limits for now after very close encounter with big bad coyotes. They are very hungry and looking for food to feed their pups so they hunt for bunnies and other little critters there right now... Good thing I had little Rio in my hands or they might have run off and ate her! !

Oh geeze it would take only a second for them to get you rio ,and the way she runs that will attract them .My neighbors little dog was snatched by a fox a couple of years ago from her fenced in back yard .They have since sold and moved .

Yes Sissy, I am scared to death for my baby! There is no escaping those big bad coyotes. The other place I take them on top of hill, might be more safer these days, someone shot two dead up there last month or so, and left the dead decaying bodies in ditch. Hopefully they are all rotted away by now, cause I don't want the big puppies rolling in that stinken rotten mess.

Today I saw some baby goldfish from last year, and I think there is a baby Koi too!
