I just went out and looked at my pond. Thin layer of ice over most of it, 1/4-1/2 inch. I find I’m eager for spring so I can get a garden going! And see my fish again. Temps have been in the 40-60 range all week, but freezing at night, so I hope the frog makes it, I just put it out. And my bog iris is taking off in the aquarium inside, I’d guess the tallest is about 2’ tall.
I’m ready for spring! Flowers and plants and starting on landscaping.

Hung cabinets today, checked the ponds, some have ice, the big ones have a water layer sitting on top of the ice layer.

My bread box is done, aside from another layer of poly urathane for shine on some parts. The red accents don’t stand out much, but I like it.

Thank you ladies! It’s amazing what a little bit of effort can do. Refinishing is so much better than spending 3x more on something new for less quality mass produced stuff. It’s easy, it’s better, and it looks better too.

I went to habitat for humanity yesterday and guess what I bought .Upper kitchen cabinets in oak and maple

for 5 dollars a piece and in great shape ,just a little touch up needed ,They are going into my laundry room .They are cabinets that would have had a cabinet off them but I will use that open spot for display and I think i will make doors that match my kitchen .Better than 36 dollars for new ones .They also came with the shelves and shelf pins .win win

All this "cabinets" talk makes me want to redo my kitchen! It needs it, but I rather spend my money outdoor first...crazy huh?:D

Don't feel like working today..it's Friday!:ROFLMAO:

All I did in the kitchen was move the cabinets over to make more room for the fridge and these cabinets were such a steal that my laundry room will get them .2 -36 inch cabinets with shelves in the middle 4 feet long ..They had cabinets from lowes and home depot that had been donated by the stores after they redo their model kitchens in the stores .But these are solid so at 5 dollars each how could I pass that deal up .It was a tight squeeze for my fridge before and now that 5 inch's gave the fridge more room .My laundry room is 10 feet long by 12 feet feet wide and i figure the wall cabinets above the washer and dryer would give me more storage that is hidden .It is my sewing room and my computer room also .
