Whats your favorite time of day to enjoy your pond and why?

Beautiful Pond! But how did a baby Snapper find your pond? Are you close to a bigger pond or lake?

I live in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas out in the country. There are lots of cattle ranchers and lots of cattle ponds. Guessing it came from one of them. He is sooo little through. Surprised me, too.

Wow that must have been some journey for such a little guy...Their survival rate is so low as hatchlings it really is amazing that he found your pond!

In general, I really tend to enjoy it most between 7am and 12pm. Especially in summer when it gets too hot in the afternoon.
...but it just depends on what's happening - My pond and garden is all about nature, so the best time of day for me is whenever I'm seeing the most activity from wildlife.

My favorite time at my pond is sitting back on a cool day slight breeze and drifting off to the sound of the water falls and nature. There is only one time i like better is when waking up to the sounds of the waterfalls and nature on a cool day.

Other wise i enjoy it all in the morning it's all the wild life waking up the birds frogs and dragon flies even the swarms of nats circling and diving at the surface and the water walkers skimming across the water, or the mid morning and the sun reflecting it's dance throughout the yard.

The flower buds opening up . watching the birds come in and taking a bath. or as the day draws near an end and the dance returns the suns starts it's own dance twinkling throughout.

Or as twilight comes in and the lights kick on and an other dance begins

Late to the party as usual but I love ours late evening. The light is amazing. If I can hang until almost dark, the bats put on quite a show!
