When can I plant these lotus outside?

I just received some Baby Doll lotus tubers and was wondering when I can plant outside in a tub in zone 7. I know how to plant them .......it's the when thingy that I'm worried about. If we get a frost will it hurt them?

JW, good question, and thank you for making me think about my lotus tubers that I just put outside in tubs. You're in a colder zone than I am, but it wouldn't hurt to check with the experts on your question. I'm definately not one of them.
