Very nice, Whiskey. Is rendering what is put on top of block walls to make them look like they are poured concrete? It looks very nice and smooth now, although I liked the block look, too. :) You do such fine work, Whiskey, you should be very proud, and I'm sure your wife and family are extremely proud of you, too!

Finished off holding bay today, laid blocks and slabs around top.

Made a modification to return, now flows back to sieve and the pump from skimmer exit into bay before also returning sieve.

Cleaned up bottom drain in readyness for the big push tomorrow.

Please post detailed picture of how you seal around the glass. I really like the idea of glass windows in ponds and thought about putting one in mine, but I was way too afraid of leaks. :yikesu: Mine would have been tiny compared to your huge picture window. You are a brave man Whiskey. It will be a fantastic feature, (if it works :fingersx: ).

MUDDY WATERS

LOOK AT DRAWING ....BLOCKWORK 40MM CUT OUTS....MAKE GLASS 40MM SMALLER THAN GAP[20/20].....PLACE 20MM PACKERS UNDER GLASS AT EACH END AND BOTH SIDES....NOW PACK UNTIL GLASS IS FLUSH WITH INNER WALL...[ DRAWING SHOWS 15MM.....GLASS 25MM +15MM SPACER]
ONCE GLASS IS IN PLACE... AQUAMATE MASTIC ...ALL ROUND ON OUTER AND INNER EDGE FLUSH TO EDGES MAKING SURE ALL AIR IS SQUEASE OUT.......NEEDS TO BE SOLID MASTIC SEAL, BECAUSE ON MINE BEING A LARGE WINDOW I USED 12 TUBES OF MASTIC TO SEAL WINDOW AND A FURTHER THREE TO SEAL LINER TO WINDOW EXPECTED.

FIRST PHOTO: BEFORE MASTIC
SECOND PHOTO: AFTER MASTIC APPLIED
