Hi,
We have a large Koi pond in place of a swimming pool off our back porch and under a screen cage. It has a 5 foot waterfall on a 6 by 20 foot water wall, a 4 foot wide pedestal stone in front of the waterfall and a "spa" with its own small waterfall & spillway into the pond. its filter is a 20,000 Gal. Aqua Ultraviolet Ultima II w/240 watts of UV on a 1/2 HP PerformancePro Artesian Pro pump. The spa skims the main pond on a separate 1/4 HP pump.
We started with a 100 gallon liner pond off the back porch, then added another 2500 gallons in the back yard, but with the high water table and maintenance issues, we decided on a large concrete pond. The new pond, built in 2006,
