Hi all! My name is Brian. I'm brand new here but I need some advice.

I'm getting ready to setup a 110 gallon stock tank (rubbermaid) in the first step of what has been my lifelong dream of having a pond.

Until I was in my mid 20's I had lots and lots of aquariums, but nothing like this.

So my question is, what filter to get? I've been reading and researching online, but there are so many to choose from and it's frankly overwhelming.

Hoping for some advice!

Thanks

I responded to your other thread. You will find that we advocate for a bog filtration system (using plants). There are lots of threads on here for bogs — we love them — and since you are considering having the pond in your front yard, a bog can add beauty.

My favorite filter is also a bog ( better known as upflow wetland filter ) They are great biological filters, and add a ton of life when stocked with plants!
