Very cool! Any chance you could share the scientific name? I looked up bladderwort and seem to have found several types, but if your type can survive freezing, I would love to be able to try and get some for here.

I think I found it... Utricularia macrorhiza. This plant has rows of tiny pouches that capture microbial life swimming in the water, and has a beautiful yellow flower that resembles a snapdragon. The plant survives the Winter by developing a hard shell around the root ball, and when the rest of the plant dies back, the hard shell drops to the bottom of the water.

Is that the same one you are getting?

ok just got some today they are
utricularia inflata
He said this guy would do better in my smaller setup. They can't be in with gf or koi or they will get munched.
