Creeping Jenny as marginal?

I wonder if Impatiens is one of those plants, like tomato, best not grown on the same ground each year, as late Summer pests are dropped in the ground to take off early next season....

I've not heard that, but it's possibly true of all plants, right? Not to mention the specific nutrients needed for a particular plant will get depleted over a season, leaving the soil less able to support that same plant the following year. Good soil management is as important as what you plant where.

The farm fields near us have a different crop each year, one year corn, next soy. They plant something that is green over winter that they kill off when planting time comes. A few of the fields are covered with henbit, which is great for our bees, after it blooms the farmers then begins to grow their crop. It does bloom early.
