Extend a pond

Has anyone got any ideas on pond extention, I want to make my pond bigger as its to small for the size of the garden its currfently 2.5m x 3.5m.

I dont know whether to join it to a knew bigger pond by a pipe or stream and if so how to go about it or am i better starting from scratch

Make your extention a seperate pond that is higher or lower. That is what I did. My upper pond feeds the bottom and the bottom has all the pumps for the waterfall/filter and upper pond circulation. Use a stream to connect them. That is where your uper and lower ond liners have to overlap, if it is done right no water loss and you don't have to bond them.
