Hi all, new user here.

Had a pond for a few years and the family have always wanted some sort of water feature for the centre of it. So I purchased a Hozelock Cascase 700 to do the job which has arrived today, upon assembling it I quickly discovered that the "Maximum height : 1.2 metres" didn't mean what I thought it was, since there was no way this thing would be able to reach the top of the pond from the bottom, which is about 3 1/2'.

Is there anyway I can modify the pump I've got to extend the pipe? Or do I need to get another pump to do the job, if so can people please give me some recommendations?

Can't you just set the pump on a plastic milk crate or something so the fountain can reach higher? Also you can build a pvc pipe holder for it to sit in higher up also and keep it nice and steady. You could modify this so your pump would sit right on it and adjust the height etc. You could paint the stand w/ black pond safe paint also.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion, but just from an aesthetic point of view, I would rather either extend the pipe or buy a pump with the right height I require.

hopefully the pump is still strong enough to push/lift the water with the extension, meaning hopefully you still get the desired effects
