    Or the smell could get to you or it could be ugly if it is a fertilized egg and a poor chick was sacrificed .I forgot that that happened to my Uncle Ivan at his farm .Aunt Helen caught it and it was not a pretty sight but to late for the embryo

    @addy1 Do you remember "Capewind" who used to be on here a few years back? Since she left GPF, she's gone into the chicken business [like you with the bees, LOL!]. I sent her a PM on Facebook and included the picture of the egg. Maybe she can shed some light....
