Regardless of who is the sitting president all military service members sworn duty must never waiver. The President is "the" Commander-In-Chief. The phrase "commander-in-chief" is key. Whatever the task, be it major or mudane such as holding an umbrella over the head of President Obama the Marine was carring out his duty. There is no grey area.
