How to Vac out Pond

What do you guys use for cleaning the pond, I used to have a pool, some kind of vac would be nice, what about the hand he,d vacs for spas? Or just let some debris collect on. Bottom?

I always just used a big tube in my aquascapes to do water changes (python) can you do that for ponds but just vacuum?

I purchased a Oase pond-o-vac 3 about 6 weeks ago due to cloudy water and poor visibility in my pond. I believe that was mostly due to the fact the builder didn't even rinse off the rocks before installation. I have struggled with that since. However, in one use of the vacuum my water is 100% better. I can now see to the bottom (4 feet) and have nothing but rave reviews for the product.

I just ordered one for my pond.
After I lined the edges with flat stones and mortar, it rained and carried some of the silt into the pond.

Thanks for this suggestion, I've been meaning to purchase a pond vac for years, but haven't cause I didn't know which product to trust!
