idea for planting oxygen plants

ok i have an idea for planting oxygen plants .
i really dont want a lot of pots in my pond so i was thinking
i have case of flats and the small pots so i can drill small holes in the side
of the pots and then put them in the flat case and put that in the pond
good idea??

it depends on what plants your talking about ...some oxygen plants to can tie up in a bunch with a weight on and chuck them in the pond

really i was geting horn wart i guess its called so u can tie it down with a rock
and they will live

yes i think it will be ok just make sure you keep it away from your pump

as soon as you can buy them if waters warm enough ...sadly you cant buy many plants untill may here in the uk

I read that hornwart will float will it still work and make oxygen

Hornwort, as in most oxygenators make O2 during the day but use it at night... When you buy it it comes in a weighted band that will sink it and keep it there as long as your fish dont pull it out of the band or bite it off. It does grow prolifically you can put it in small pots filled with peagravel when the bands will no longer keep it down

thanks guys iam glad it comes weighted down. i wanna get some to
keep the oxygen up and this will help fight off the green water

what other stuff can i use besides floating plants and horn wart
