Fertlized hardy water lily and snow white lotus with pond Tabbs yesterday. Fertilized with half what they required for container size. It rained last night. Today floaters are blueish/grey, Arial leaves looked like they are dying. 3 small leaves look good. Water lily leaves went yellow over half of surface area of leaf. My son watered them with city water yesterday. I've seen that burn water lilies before???

Overnight? That seems awfully fast... I guess I'm confused why your son is watering lilies and lotuses?
He's from city trying to help??? I did notice several weeks ago that city water seemed to burn the water lily leaves. My lotus and lilies were beautiful last night. Puzzled!

Maybe high chlorine levels or watered when it was in full sun, That can cook the leaves.
