Have you tried soapy water? I use that around my pond sometimes if I get leaf chewers. It's not magic but does seem to work

I have many varieties of milkweed and they all get aphids however I would never use anything other than natural pest control. Ladybugs and lacewings appear out of nowhere and keep everything in check.

Ladybugs lots they will fix problem pretty quickly they will also lay eggs and continue to make eggs to prevent future infestations learned what baby ladybugs look like so that you don't kill them. Good luck nature always corrects itself
