Here is the final height at 22" (that is with the bull nose installed that will cover the liner and add 2"), you can see 3 of them in the pic.

In the very last photo, the back object in the left corner is the skimmer. In the photo above that, the corner behind the wall, near the trees is where it is going. We have just enough room for our 50 gallon bio falls and all the other equipment behind it.

We will be building the waterfall into a "wall" of sorts made of rocks. There will be 2 sheeting water features coming out of the wall at that corner. That is the next step......

Well good and bad news today. Good news:eek:ur equipment showed up and it fits. Bad News: we need to install an electrical box (kinda already figured that) and the guy doesn't think the wall will hold.

So idea he had was to take it all down and mortar it piece by piece as the keystone system won't be enough to hold back the force of the water (4 times that of dirt). My friend's idea was to get a cement drill, drill down all over and cement in rebar. He thinks that should make it a done deal.

Thoughts?

Drilling and putting rebarb isn't going to work, They will split and lining them up is going to be a major...PINA.

Probably would be easier and safer to mortar them.

Sissy, One your only two feet high, that wall is taller than that, second your using blocks that have a lip that help lock them in place, They are using flat sided stone and irregular shaped ones at that.

The block I used have a lip on the back that locks over the block below and pulls the walls in a little .Top is 8x12 but the farther down you go on the wall the wider it is .So my actual pond is 10 feet wide when I measured below where the block starts and around 16 feet long with the waterfall and it starts at 2 feet deep by the waterfall and goes down to 4 feet deep at the second corner waterfall ,Thats the part in the pic that has the higher block section .I wanted the pond just by my front covered front porch so we could hear it and look down at it .Our house is built up on a hill so 3 sides needed higher block .The side near the side walk is 2 block high but they come up level with the side walk .So we can walk there and feed and pet the fish easly
